ICT Operation Engineer (Security) (m/f)

Heading Moz is recruiting an ICT Operation Engineer (Security) (m/f), to Support the ICT Operations Coordinator to ensure security and cybersecurity of IT systems and infrastructure as well as to solve related problems, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Management of ICT security operations
• Manages the continuous improvement of processes and technologies used in the company, jointly with security operations center in other partners
• Assures systems performance to meet required standards following the company policies and procedures
• Periodically (based on needs) issues and updates the local Cyber Security procedures
• Supports with identification and management of threats discovered in the local network and implements proper mitigation techniques
• Defines the systems infrastructures requirements and procedures
• Defines access requirements to systems and network and monitors performance
• Evaluates the need for services, equipment and materials, issues operational plans and assists his superior in contracts negotiations when and if needed
• Oversees the helpdesk team, and the team on board, with issues related to cyber security and coordinates their day-to-day work when needed
• Supports projects implementation, maximizing synergies with existing infrastructures respecting Company standards and guidelines
• Support his superior on administrative aspects for licensing matters
• Controls and Monitors, with partners support, day-to-day activities in order to guarantee business continuity by implementing procedures to prevent internal or external attacks/threats

Requisites

• Degree in IT/Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• At least 3 years of experience in similar role/position
• Proven experience with TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN
• Familiarity with international regulations and information security standards (eg: GDPR)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification is a plus
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification is a plus
• GIAC (Certified Intrusion Analyst certification) is a plus
• One or more certifications of the relevant sector, including Windows 10 and other MS certifications, VMWARE, NETAPP certification are a plus
• Knowledge of HPE Infrastructure is a plus
• ITIL Certification is a plus
• SQL server DB certification is a plus
• Fluent written & spoken English
