Heading is recruiting for its client, an oil and gas company, an IMSQ and Reporting Advisor (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Support the coordinator in the development of HSE Annual Plan, 4-year Plan and Budget
- Assist in the Management of HSE Meetings with line managers to discuss HSE statistics, MBO’s etc. and ensure actions agreed are addressed in a timely manner
- Develop, maintain, gather, monitor, analyze and disseminate accurate HSE statistics, reflecting company's HSE performance against established goals
- Ensure timely reporting of all incidents and accidents. Manage a live database (register) of all incidents
- Keep track of all requirements from HQ in terms of HSE-IMS; elaboration, update and review of Company HSE-IMS documents
- Support in the HSE Reporting for the Coral South Project; Provide proper reporting to HQ through the dedicated tools (e.g. SHERPA, INDACO, etc.)
- Ensure the Implementation of HQ HSE Initiatives and Maximize Safety Targets e.g. Lessons Learned, Safety Golden Rules, HSE Observations, e-Gruvis, Driving Safety Awareness etc. within Maputo HO and on/offshore operational sites
- Support the achievement of certification of ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001
- Support the HSE Engineers and Supervisors in:
- Identifying risk factors, assessing risks and identifying safety measures
- Developing preventive and protective measures, control systems, safety procedures
- Informing workers, taking part in safety consultations and periodic safety meetings
- Contract and contractor management
- Support the coordinator in identifying HSE training and development needs and advise on appropriate line of action
- Coordinate and perform relevant HSE technical and compliance audits/inspections, agree/report findings and follow-up corrective action tracking
- Update the Company´s high-level risk register with inclusion of current operational activities for approval of the Department Manager
- Support the Legal Manager and company management with the review and monitoring of any changes to existing state and local HSE regulations
- Project documentation review in EHSIA Repository
Requisites
- Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering disciplines
- MSc in an Environmental or Chemical or relevant scientific discipline
- NEBOSH
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of environmental Management in Oil & Gas Industry. Main area of skills and experience include:
- Monitoring report development and data analysis
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies in the area of analytical works
- Interface management with various Environmental groups and Authorities
- Knowledge of international codes and local regulations on Environment
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
