US Embassy is recruiting a Information Management Assistant, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- The Computer Management Assistant (CMA) supports the Information Systems Center (ISC), and Technical Communications staff in carrying out their daily duties to communicate locally and with the State Department in support of the diplomatic, public outreach, and business functions of the Embassy. This assistance includes: Processing record traffic; working on the Unclassified Local Area Networks (LANs); responding to user trouble calls; maintaining consolidated oversight and inventories for over $1,000,000 of information technology and communications (ITCOM) equipment; technical support for telephones & radios; and providing Mail and Pouch assistance. The CCMA shares duties and responsibilities with the Information Management Specialist (IMS). The CCMA must be willing to be occasionally “on call” and willing to travel for training

Requisites
- Minimum of a 4 year college degree specializing in an information technology field
- 2 years Prior work experience as a Systems and/or Network administrator required. Must have working experience administering Windows Operating Systems (Win7/XP/2008/2003)
- Level III (good working knowledge) English is required. Level IV (fluent working knowledge) Portuguese is required
