Lead Maintenance Technician (m/f)

Description

• The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Lead Maintenance Technician

Duties

• The incumbent reports directly to the Facilities Supervisor. The position holder is employed as an electrical team lead to a team consisting of electricians to accomplish skilled maintenance and repair work at the Journeyman Electrician level. The work shall be done at the residential buildings, recreational facilities, other owned/leased properties, and Warehouse. The team leader is responsible for assigning work orders to the electrician team and ensuring work is completed on time and to the Mission standards
• The electrical team may be assigned tasks such as replacing electrical panels, restoring power, installing generators, maintaining transfer switches, grounding power or other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor. Responsibilities include supervision of the posts maintenance staff that maintains all electrical equipment and systems for residential buildings and warehouse
