Maintenance Controller Team Leader (m/f)

• Aldelia looking for professionals to work in our Client Cervejas de Moçambique (New Factory)

Duties

• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment:
• Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Ensures a reliable plant is achieved through the Maintenance, calibration, repair of equipment and optimization of plant and associated devices:
• Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation/systems
• Plan and prepare the job
• Carry out repairs/maintenance
• Continuously improve (optimize) plant, process equipment and systems
• Operate plant and process equipment
• Calibrate instruments
• Work in Teams:
• Communicate effectively in teams
• Contribute to self and team development
• Apply the VPO principles and practices:
• All work is carried out using the World Class Manufacturing principles
• Understands, Implements and Complies to Good manufacturing practices
• Sustains what has been implemented
• Health, Safety and Environment policies:
• Identification and closure of unsafe practices
• Safety inspections conducted
• Safe maintenance practices audited
• Adherence to PPE policies
• Maintenance tools are in good working order

Requisites

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent and trade 2 to 3 years electrical/Control & Automation experience with 3 years in supervisory level Knowledge of Brewing and E&F and Packaging plant will be an advantage PC literate (Proficiency in Microsoft office applications)
• Experience: 2-3 Years mechanical/electrical with in depth workshop knowledge. Planning experience required
• Min 2 - 3 years’ production engineering in a FMCG environment
• Experience in leading a team in a Maintenance, Controller and Planner environment
• Exceptional man management and communication skills
• Knowledge and experience of health and safety
