Maintenance Supervisor

PRI is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Receive requisitions and dispatch relevant personnel timeously
• Ensure correct supplies/bills of materials have been given to sections for maintenance work required
• Follow up on maintenance repairs for quality and effectiveness of repairs
• When required assess level of maintenance required together with sectional manager and maintenance crew
• Ensure timesheets and jobs are signed off timeously and are submitted for costing
• Keep records of all work/repairs done
• Maintain a clean and tidy maintenance workshop/store/office
• Ensure all tooling and specialized equipment within maintenance department is controlled, kept in good order and safely accounted for
• Manage leave schedule for maintenance team
• Control materials and safety equipment required by maintenance workers within the section and within company practices
• Produce monthly schedule of jobs done and another for jobs pending at the end of each month/week
• Ensure correct timekeeping of maintenance crews
• Ensure all requisitions pertaining to maintenance section directly are brought to the Maintenance Manager for approval timeously (Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians light duty electricians or (low voltage), Builders, Assistants and general workers

Requisites

• Knowledge in: Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, Electrificas ( light duty electricians) or (low voltage), Construction
