Mechanical QA Inspector

Heading Moçambique is recruiting a Mechanical QA Inspector, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Execute the tasks at hand with respect to the Q&A procedures and requirements and the advancements of the worksTestify Ultrasonic proofing, dye penetration checks, X-ray and mechanical testing
• Visual inspection of welding
• Verifying material certificates in the field and construction procedures in the field
• Supporting the Q&A Supervisor for Welding qualifications
• Photographic registration of the works

Requisites

• University degree in Engineering or Mechanical
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial environment, preferably the tank terminal business
• Experience in an international and multi-cultural background
• Well established computer skills, more specifically the Microsoft® and the Lotus Notes applications
• Beside Portuguese, being fluent in English written and spoken is imperative
