AstraZeneca is recruiting a Medical Information Delegate, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- To drive marketing of AstraZeneca Brands across Mozambique market and transfer skills and knowledge to the Medical professionals
- To positively influence customers’ prescribing behaviour to achieve sales targets. Develop territory and build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximising sales volume and market share of designated products on a given territory
- Manage sales – by attaining or exceeding agreed sales targets and market shares
- Promoting the Company’s image and products by building business relationships
- Implementing territory business plans
- Maintaining administrative systems
- Driving market share growth
- Establish and maintain customer relationships

Requisites
- Must be an Mozambican Citizen or retain residence permit
- Demonstrate experience and market knowledge in Mozambique will be a plus
- Must have a qualification in pharmacy or medical sciences
- At least 4 years’ experience as a Medical Sales representative preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry will be a plus
- Driving license(mandatory)
- Portuguese and English language knowledge and skills
- Excellent Interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Management of cross functionality across the organisation
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to analyse data to formulate business plan
- Strong organisational skills with a quality focus on
, Analysis, Planning, Time management, Co-ordination of Activities, Team player
- Sound Business knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry
