US Embassy is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- The Strategic Information Program Officer will serve as a member of the Strategic Information (SI) Branch within the CDC/Mozambique office
- The incumbent will provide technical assistance to CDC partners, including the Ministry of Health (Ministério da Saúde - MISAU), and monitor implementing partner’s performance in meeting program objectives
- The main duties of the position are to plan, initiate, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate complex HIV/AIDS activities, and as necessary, apply evaluation research, to monitor program implementation, document results, and translate data into meaningful policy and program improvement
- The incumbent will also be a key contributor to the strengthening of information systems within CDC partners and MISAU
Requisites
- Bachelor’s level degree in public health, health management or related discipline required
- At least two years experience in designing and implementing SI systems, monitoring & evaluation, epidemiology/surveillance, and/or health management information systems required
- Level IV English (fluency, reading/speaking/writing is required). Level III Portuguese (good working knowledge, reading/speaking/writing is required)
