World Food Programme is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) - SSA 4, to be based in Zambézia, Nampula & Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.
Duties
- Prepare regular output monitoring reports, including consolidation of operational data from the field on food distribution planning and reporting
- Ensure accuracy of data entry produce Monthly Output Report
- Contribute to the implementation of the M&E system in the field and reporting on outcome and output level indicators
- Act as Focal point in all issues related to COMET
- Provide technical support to selected partners on M&E tools and reports
- Maintain and provide updates of the collected data, reporting timely
- Provide support to the evaluations of operations reports
Requisites
- Completion of secondary school education
- Desired experiences for entry the role:
- General knowledge of WFP monitoring and evaluation systems and standards
- knowledge of statistical software, such as Excel
- Familiarity with quantitative survey techniques and analysis
- Experience on M&E systems, data analysis, preferably relevant to specific area of food security
- Good communication skills and a clear understanding of the subject matter
- Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with counterparts and staff within the office, donors, local authorities, NGOs and other UN agencies
