Aldelia is recruiting a Network/System Infrastructure & Helpdesk Coordinator (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Maintain business systems, data communications, voice communication and office automation in as close as possible with world-wide best technology and adopting Corporate standards and procedures for data/voice security and protection
- Manage and promote the venture’s business area demand starting and managing projects for new systems and/or revamping/upgrading existing solutions
- Define and keep under control the ICT and IM budget on the basis of the Business Plan
- Ensure that the ICT and IM personnel are adequately trained to be capable of providing assistance, training and instructions to end-users as needed
- Promote initiatives of integration and workgroup and suggest to the upper level of competence new solutions and ideas coming from the day-by-day experience
- Financial responsibility on Budget definition, Requisition authorization, Invoice Trailer 2nd Approval, New/Update Object Codes request, New/Update Business Units request
- Ensure that implementation of projects is consistent with foreseen project time schedule and cost
- Ensure the consistency of the ICT systems in accordance with the Company development
- Ensure that ICT services are implemented through contracts that provide quality and high availability
- Monitor the ICT services and ensure immediate addressing of any incident/problem
- Monitor costs related to ICT services and support budget/forecasts phases
- Assist his superior in ensuring the appraisal, training and professional development of his personnel in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Root cause analysis and offering improvements in procedures and technologies
Requisites
- Degree in IT or recognized ICT
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Unix Platform and Storage Area Network in large Company and with many different sites in different Geographic locations
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese
