Paramedic ALS (m/f)

Duties

• Attend to injuries or sudden illnesses by applying a variety of pre-hospital simple and advanced treatments (first aid, advanced airway management, CPR, administering injections and oxygen) or surgical procedures
• Support the rescue of victims of accident or illness by working together with the rescue team
• Provide primary health care under the supervision of the attending Physician
• Support occupational health medical examinations and the medical surveillance program
• Manage pharmaceutical products and other medical materials
• Support the SHE Department in the planning, coordination and execution of emergency drills and their exercises
• Responsible for inspections associated with urgencies/emergencies, ambulances, documents
• Updates to protocols and guidelines according to international standards associated with urgencies/emergencies and rescue
• Write and submit concrete and accurate reports on incidents, adhere to established medical protocols and procedures as well as legal guidelines and health and safety standards

Requisites

• Tertiary education in emergency health care (Btech/Ndip Emergency Medical Care)
• ACLS e ATLS
• 3 yrs. relevant operational experience as a Paramedic
