Portfolio Assistants (m/f)

Duties

• Contribute to the implementation of Program activities related to market research, stakeholder engagement, partnership negotiations and capacity development
• Contribute to the Program’s networking and relationship management with private and public actors to promote the Program objectives and facilitate wider adoption and crowding in
• Systematically gather information and evidence on the Program’s impact under the guidance of the Portfolio Managers and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists
• Contribute to the preparation of field inputs to the quarterly and annual reports as required by the Program
• Support coordination with partners including organizing partners field visits
• Contribute to establishing a team culture grounded in collaboration, openness, and learning

Requisites

• Relevant academic qualification in relation to agribusiness, business management, marketing,, economics or related fields
• At least three years of experience working in private sector in market research, management consulting, banking or related fields
• Track record of building strong client and stakeholder relationships with private sector and government
• Strong communication, analytical and strategy skills
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English
• Knowledge and practical project experience in the application of the Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) is an added advantage
