Chemonics is recruiting a Procurement Administrative Associate (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Inform the lead time to the Ministry of Health and internal customers
- Follow-up delivery dates of open Purchase Orders and update procurement tracker
- Update the internal customer of the upcoming deliveries
- Send a pre-alert to the recipient laboratory
- Receive and verify the accuracy of proof of delivery as per Purchase order description
- Prepare overview of the proof of delivery and share it with the lab team
- Assist the lab team with the requests related to distributions
- Ensure that completed procurement files are properly filed in share point and physical file based on the checklist
- Write and Review the letters and other documents
- Support the achievement of the overall project goals as required to ensure project performance
- Process and fulfill orders within the procurement system ARTMIS
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Procurement Manager
Requisites
- The incumbent for this position should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience with administrative activities
- Proficiency in common computer packages (e.g. Word and Excel)
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to accomplish goals and meet deadlynes
- Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English is required
- Proactive, responsible, keen of learning, and committed to teamwork
