Procurement and Admin Officer

Fundação Clarisse Machanguana is recruiting a Procurement and Admin Officer, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties
  • Develop procurement plan with the program manager and accountant in line with budget requirements and timelines
  • Process all program and office and procurement needs. Execute procurement policy and processes and inform other staff of such processes to ensure donor funding compliance
  • Support the Administration Manager and accountant in the completion of various admin tasks and responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor the Office Assistant
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, evaluating new office products, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques
  • Adapt and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans
  • Ensure all supervised staff members are trained
  • Maintain and update a contact list for identified and approved purchasing vendors
  • Other position-related duties as assigned by Administration
Requisites
  • 2 years minimum experience in a procurement and administration role
  • Speak, read, write Portuguese
  • Understand and read English for every day work requirements
  • Availability to start immediately
  • Can work off own initiative with confidence to ask for support when needed
