The F2F Program Country Director, Mozambique (likely to oversee Angola program as well) shall be responsible for coordination of all F2F program activities within a country.
Duties
- Identifying, designing, and implementing Country F2F Projects
- Coordinating any flexible assignments
- Identifying potential partners and hosts
- Developing volunteer scopes of work
- Facilitating volunteer assignments
- Providing pre-assignment and post-assignment assistance to hosts
- Up-dating sector and sub-sector analyses
- Ensuring sound systems for monitoring and assessing impact from program activities
- Coordinating work with other stakeholders
Requisites
- University degree in agriculture, agricultural economics, agronomy or related field (preferably an advanced degree)
- Minimum eight years professional experience in crop production
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Previous experience in a mangement role on donor-funded agricultural development programs
- Excellent organiation skills
- Previous experience working in volunteer programs desireable
