Safety Advisor (m/f)

Aldelia is recruiting a Safety Advisor (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
  • Providing day to day Safety support and advice to all aspects of company activities including contractor management, risk assessments, incident investigations and reporting, KPIs reporting and safety compliance)
  • Collect HSE KPIs, preparation of HSE reports, statistics and trend analysis
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the Company HSE-MS; this will include updating of documentation to reflect changing operational circumstances and development, preparation, and implementation of new Procedures and Operating Instructions
  • Undertake safety pre-qualification and tender evaluation reviews of prospective Contractors
  • Identify any measures that Company needs to undertake in order to assist the selected Contractor
  • Review Contractor HSE Cases, Interface Documents, Safety requirements, HSE Plans and Emergency Response Plans
  • Participating in incident Investigation as appropriate
  • Participating in operational risk assessments as appropriate
  • Conduct bow-tie verification exercises as appropriate
  • Participating in Audits and support the audit team as required
  • Carrying out Safety Inspections and Site Visits as required
  • Reports to Safety & Environmental Coordinator
Requisites
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, operational experience preferred
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
