Aldelia is recruiting a Sales Executive (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week
- Win, retain and develop medium-sized Business Customers through sales "hunting" activity
- Collaborate with manager to ensure alignment with branch strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development
- Maximize sales growth from existing customers through the development of new sales, product marketing, and customer support strategies
- Builds rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer’s business and the market and support customer retention through collaboration with all resources including our Product teams and other sales channels
- Consult with several levels of decision-makers and buying influences to understand customers’ business challenges and supply chain goals
- Develop tailored solutions that deliver value and support the customer’s business strategy
- Perform all aspects of the sales process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing CRM daily (required)
Requisites
- Minimum 2-3 years of outside sales experience
- Freight forwarding & Operations background preferred
- Oil & Gas industry knowledge preferred
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and using the Internet
- Bachelor degree desired
