Sales Managers

SDO Mozambique is recruiting Sales Managers for a leading manufacturer and supplier of cement, based in Maputo, Mozambique. The Sales Managers are to be based on the company´s Headquarter in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Duties

• Participate in developing and implementing the annual sales business plan including key performance, objectives, targets, needed resources, and budget to achieve the company´s mission
• Develop a marketing plan, defining the outlet's spots, events, etc.
• Assign tasks, providing technical advice to the sales team, during and after the work of sales-entry
• Review operational records and reports on sales activities and determine profitability
• Visit customers and work with the branch managers for the preparation of price offers/discount provided
• Represent the company in fairs & trade association meetings to promote products
• Ensure effective coordination between the sales department and the logistics section
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
• Ongoing evaluation of staff performance and ensuring a clear understanding of the weakness and strengths of the team
• Assume other duties as assigned by his/her direct manager

Requisites

• Bachelor Degree in Commercial, Preferably to be in Business Administration
• Sales Professional Diploma is preferably
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the field of Sales & Marketing on mining or building material sectors
• Between 35 and 50 years old
• South African citizenship or work permit
• Availability to travel between Johannesburg and Nelspruit. Sometimes will travel to Maputo (to the factory)
• Driving license
