GUD Filters is recruiting a Sales Representative, to be based in Matola.
Duties
- Manage the distributors, stockists and workshops to ensure that a good working relationship is maintained between them and G.U.D.
- Ensure they offer and maintain a high level of service to all G.U.D. users and achieve a mutually acceptable sales growth
- Ensure that stockist carry a wide range as is necessary to service their market and their sales personnel are sufficiently trained in G.U.D. products to serve their market
- Investigate and review distributor, stockists and workshops network in order to determine gaps in the availability of G.U.D. products, and secure acceptable new distributor stockists to fill those gaps
- Investigate and attend to all claims against G.U.D. product/service failure
- Roll out Marketing promotions, monitor and report back on their success
- Conduct surveys as and when required by the Marketing Department to improve our market knowledge so as to assist in planning our market strategy
- Submit reports on customer and competitor activities, end user opportunities, market related information, new filter applications (G.U.D. and competitors), product related matters such as failures and stock requirements or problems
- Requisites
- High school qualification
- Valid Code 8 drivers licence
- Must be able to converse and read/write in English
- 5 years marketing / sales in a technical automotive environment
- Good Microsoft Office computer literacy
- Previous experience in the motor parts business and/or previous filtration knowledge would be advantageous
- A technical background with a marketing or sales diploma would be advantageous
