Security Manager

PRI is recruiting a Security Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
• Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
• Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Manage the security of a 300 ha Irrigated Macadamia and Grain Estate of approximately 1300 ha
• Create reports for management on security status
• The Security Manager will be required to be mobile and manage a rapid response team of 70, who will be required to work as a roving patrol along 36km electrified fence line and safe guard 15 permanent posts

Requisites

• Applicants must have at least 3-5 years related security experience
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
• Experience in administration, security technical Procedures
• Good communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency in English
