Senior Manager Maintenance (m/f)

Duties

• Lead maintenance team disciplines to achieve maintenance objectives
• Handle maintenance deliverables for existing plant and upcoming PSA plant
• Manage maintenance activities to guarantee equipment availability and plant reliability
• Plan shutdown activities of assets and reduce downtime
• Develop maintenance philosophies for PSA and align with PPA
• Design organizational structures for PSA maintenance team
• Build recruitment strategies and plana for PSA maintenance team
• Create training and development plans for new PSA maintenance staff
• Oversee the creation of training material for new PSA maintenance recruits
• Monitor advertisement, recruitment, appointment, and mobilization of new PSA maintenance incumbents
• Assess the acceptance criteria for equipment systems handover for the new PSA
• Evaluate the development of maintenance strategies of the equipment for the new PSA
• Deliver contractual agreement on behalf of the PSA
• Establish technical deliverables for the maintenance disciplines in line with the PPA facility
• Implement Sasol Group's risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework
• Build and maintain positive relationships with technology license holders and relevant stakeholders to maintain asset integrity and reliability
• Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals
• Manage team performance and development formally and informally based on standard practices in use across Sasol Group
• Identify and activate learning as required based on individual and collective needs. Liaise with HR and/or specialised vendor for bespoke deployment
• Nurture a team spirit and openness towards feedback, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation

Requisites

• University Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 12 + relevant years of experience
