Senior Negotiation Advisor (m/f)

Duties

• Contribute to the evaluation of new business opportunities and implementation of the negotiation activities
• Support activities of drafting and reviewing of contracts to be negotiated, with the support of the competent departments
• To carry out researches and proposals for new initiatives for the development of the oil and gas business of the company Subsidiaries in Mozambique
• Support negotiation activities in the company Subsidiaries in Mozambique, ensuring the definition and the negotiation of clauses relevant to production sharing contracts, joint operating agreements, farm-in/farm-out, oil and gas transportation, sales, lifting and other commercial agreements
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with Government representatives, other counterparts in the negotiations process and joint venture partners in order to facilitate the definition and development of commercial programs, and the identification and resolution of their respective concerns
• To liaise with International Negotiations department (INEG) and other corporate departments, prepare periodic reports and elaborate specific analysis on any matter of major interest in liaison with other competent departments

Requisites

• Bachelor Degree in a relevant Engineering, Economics or Geotechnical subject
• 5 years’ experience in exploration and production in the international oil industry Professional Qualification: Membership of appropriate industry/academic professional organizations would a preferential requisite
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Knowledge of LNG/Gas commercialization; Economic analysis; Conversant with various types of agreements such as Farm In Agreement, Joint Operating Agreement, Facility Sharing Agreement etc; PSC Contract; Gas Processing and Lifting procedures
