Service Supervisor

PRI is recruiting a Service Supervisor, to be based in Tete.

Duties

• Leading a team of Service Artisans to repair, service and maintain Earthmoving Equipment, power generation and components to Caterpillar standards and Customer requirement
• Achievement of cost centre financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Resolve internal customer queries
• Effective control of cost centre expenses and WIP
• Ensure effective communication between team and management
• Ensure service work is carried out in compliance with quality standards (OEM Guidelines)
• Apply Warranty policies and procedures and Service Warranty investigations
• Ensure Outputs of Service Audits are achieved
• Apply Barloworld Equipment leadership philosophy
• Achieve of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability
• Performance management of team
• Competency development of team’s 1 hour training
• On-the-job supervision
• Safety of team
• Reporting of team KPIs and prospects

Requisites

• Grade 12
• Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree
• Qualified Artisan [Mechanic in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) with minimum 5 years post apprentice/learnership experience)
• Leadership potential
• Proven track record in leading a team of artisans
• Business and financial acumen
• Excellent admin skills
• Solid planning skills
• Sound business communication and presentation skills
• Able to achieve results utilizing talent in team
• Knowledge of SIS & ET or similar
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English language
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Presentation Skills
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar position
• Mozambican Nationality
• Age: 30 to 45
