Aldelia is recruiting a Specialist Local Content (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Contribute to the execution of local content strategy in line with business requirements. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Execute on company's Local Content reporting requirements in Mozambique
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, practices, policies, and systems related to the management of local content
- Advise on the integrated delivery of company Group’s programmes aimed at contributing to the development of the Small, Medium, and Micro-sized Enterprise (SMME) sector and the diversification of supplier pool
- Maximize the local content by increasing the number of local firms in company Group's supply chain
- Grow and sustain SMMEs by providing technical and business development support through mentoring and coaching
- Support local companies to grow and develop so they can secure business from other international companies
- Verify that the local content element of tenders is appropriately rated and assessed as an integral part of the overall bid evaluation process
- Strive towards enabling maximum efficiency within required governance framework
- Assist in the assessment and selection of SMME suppliers to qualify them for loan funding through the company ESD fund
- Provide technical input to draft proposals with regard to registration and ownership, skills development, and other sustainable local content initiatives
Requisites
- University Bachelor's Degree
- Min. experience: 6 relevant years
