Subgrant Management Specialist

Heading is recruiting a Subgrant Management Specialist, to be based in Zambézia and Gaza, Mozambique.

Duties

• Responsible for the management and monitoring of subgrantees, providing support in leadership, financial management, resource mobilization, administration and organizational effectiveness, and linking local partners to capacity strengthening opportunities to improve sustainability and local ownership

Requisites

• University degree in Development Studies, Public health, Business Administration, Economics or related field
• Grants Certification by an US affiliated or training institution preferred
• 5 to 7 years of experience in HIV/AIDS or Public Health or community development, particularly with local partners
• Experience working on U.S. Government grants and understanding of USG contracting and auditing standards as they apply to effective management of multi-year funds is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
