Description

• The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Supervisory Telephone Technician

Duties

• The Incumbent is the subject matter expert in either VoIP telephone or VHF/UHF radio technology and will demonstrate vast knowledge in digital voice/video communications hardware and programming
• The primary function is as a telecommunications manager responsible for essential communications including radios, telephones, mobile devices, and all pertinent configurations, inventories, and services
• Primary duties include, supervising and tasking locally employed staff
• The Incumbent is responsible for daily operations of the telephone technology shop which manages radio, telephone and mobile device life cycles for the Embassy
