Tax Manager

Heading is recruiting, for a client in the Telecommunication area, a Tax Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• The Tax Manager will be responsible for: completing and/or reviewing all relevant calculations and tax filings (including VAT/CIT/WHT) relating to our operating entities
• Handling the subsidiaries\' corporate tax affairs in a manner that achieves tax efficiency
• Managing the relationships with the company\'s tax advisers and tax authorities
• Preparing tax calculations for financial reporting purposes

Requisites

• 8 years of experience, as a tax adviser or in house tax manager of multinational enterprise
• A  degree in tax law or tax economics or a foreign equivalent
• Some international tax experience is a plus
• Solid knowledge in VAT ,CIT, WHT and transfer pricing
• Fluent in English (both verbally and written)
