Heading Moçambique is searching for a Team Leader to be part of a new project in education for World Vision financed by the US Government, to be based in Nampula, Mozambique.
Duties
- The purpose of the Team Leader position is to oversee the field operations of the project, focusing on the components that are implemented by World Vision
- This includes ensuring that the project achieves its goals and objectives with compliance to World Vision and Donor standards, co-ordinating efforts between the two districts, and ensuring that necessary support is provided to the district teams by the provincial team in a timely manner
- The Team Leader will also play a significant role in government relations at the Provincial level, assisting the Chief of Party in ensuring that all necessary information is provided to the government
Requisites
- Education and knowledge Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject e.g. Management,
Development, Education, Health
- Minimum of 5 years in project management
- Strong understanding of community engagement processes and community dynamics
- Experience with US government grants is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, or other similar software
