Bedson Mozambique is recruiting a Technical, Marketing and Sales Executive, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing regulatory branch audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
- Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assist in preparing an annual budget; assist in scheduling expenditures; initiating corrective actions
- Determine annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products; analysing trends and results; recommending selling prices to head office; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand
- Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans
- Identify marketing opportunities by identifying customer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
- Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; coordinating new product development
- Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
- Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends
- Provide product training to our customers/distributors to stimulate demand
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Accomplish marketing and organization goals by completing related results as needed
Requisites
- Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years sales and marketing experience of animal health products in Mozambique
- Bachelor of Veterinary science or equivalent
- Must be able to read/ write and talk English
