Technical Sales Advisor (m/f)

Duties

• Visits growers based on chick sales and completes the Technical Visit Report Chart upon every visit
• Visits potential growers to ensure all requirements are met as per Housing Manual & Broiler Production Manual
• Identifies issues & advises customers on best practices to ensure optimal performance
• Advises potential and existing growers on additional chicks and feed when necessary to boost sales
• Supplies technical support to the chick's distributors as requested to ensure compliance with the Distributor Manual and set standards
• Provides immediate feedback and technical support to growers when they report flock challenges
• Gathers market intelligence and immediately sends report to the Commercial Manager
• Escalates any technical issues when unable to solve to the Commercial & Hatchery Managers
• Attends various training, agricultural shows and conferences to stay up-to-date with current and trending technical knowledge
• Prepares reports as per Report Matrix
• Attends meetings as per Meeting Schedule
• Assists in creating training material
• Organizes the large- & small-scale growers training schedule yearly
• Sets up & conducts growers training as per schedule Conducts ad-hoc site training with growers, other customers and any other organizationwhen requested
• Conducts chick's distributors and Sales teamtraining as requested and when needed
• Completes a training report after each training and submits to the Commercial Manager in weekly report
• Complies to biosecurity, QA SOPs & animal welfare standards
• Complies to Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) and Good Management Practice (GMP)
• Complies to the Company Values, TeamBehaviors & Code of Conduct
• Complies to Company policies and SOPs and all other relevant statutory regulations

Requisites

• Education Diploma or Degree in Animal Science or BVSc
• Experience 3-5 years in the poultry industry
• Skills required Good oral and verbal communication, Strong/Positive interpersonal skills, Good Time Management skills, Good Planning skills, Good problem solving skills, Ability to adapt essential information to non technical and academic audience
• Language speaks fluent Portuguese and English
