PSI is recruiting a Trainee - Information Technology (IT), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Collaborate in providing IT support to all PSI offices across the country
- Ensure operation and maintenance of networks, servers, systems, software and hardware equipment in accordance with local and international best practices to ensure business continuity
- Provide support in managing the organization's internet access to maintain maximum internet availability for a good working environment in accordance with IT policy
- Assist with the help-desk function which includes providing internal clients support and advice while resolving at the shortest time possible user IT problems
- Collaborate in the process of designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Interact with PSI staff at all levels to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Integrate Power Apps applications with other platforms and services, such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, among others
- Collaborate in the creation and management of workflows (Power Automate) to automate work processes
- Model data in the Common Data Service (CDS) to ensure a cohesive and efficient structure for applications
- Develop and optimize expressions and formulas in Power Apps for advanced customization
- Stay updated on Power Platform updates and new features
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in SharePoint and web development
knowledge or course in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Solid knowledge of integrating Power Apps applications with other services and data sources
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI and Power Virtual Agents
- Good skills in creating and managing workflows in Power Automate
- Experience in application development using Microsoft Power Apps
