NTU is recruiting a Training Manager to support the development of the programme PRODEPEMES-ESTRADA for Small and Medium Enterprises in road maintenance.
Overall objectives of the program
- To contribute to job creation and promotion
- To contribute to increased agriculture and fisheries production through the provision of improvements to the road network
Specific objectives of the program
- Improve the quality of road maintenance works performed by existing SMEs
- Increase market access to the best performing SMEs
Implementation of the program
- Training program for SME contractors and consultants
- Supporting actions to the SMEs
Requisites
- Degree in civil Engineering or areas related to construction
- Excellent communication in Portuguese
- Proven capacity to prepare and present training modules in the field of construction will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years experience of management of training programs
- Vocational training experience as trainer will be an advantage
- Recent experience in institutional capacity building in the construction sectors or in programs related to private sector development in the construction sector
- Recent experience in the SME support programs in the construction sector will be an advantage
- Experience in developing countries will be an advantage
