Aldelia is recruiting a Wellsite Material Co-Ordinator (m/f), to be based in Inhambane, Mozambique.
Duties
- Responsible and accountable for the day to day co-ordination of the receipt, verification storage and despatch of all cargo, material and equipment, as well as vehicles and personnel, together with maintenance of accurate records and the necessary preparation of documentation to ensure the Well-site operational and regulatory requirements
- Assuring that all Well Delivery activities in Mozambique are conducted safely and responsibly and in accordance with the One Company’s SHE Excellence Approach, industry good practice, and the law. The purpose of this and all Company’s well
- Delivery roles is to Safely Deliver Quality wells and to personally contribute to Mozambique skills transfer
- Drive Company’s Life Saving Rules & SHE Performance within the Company’s Well-site location
- Creates safe working conditions by implementation and compliance with company’s Life Saving Rules & SHE Management plan
- Fully responsible for care and custody of Company’s owned and Contractor materials and equipment on the well-site
- Monitor, inspect and record all inbound and outbound materials and equipment
- Ensure materials and equipment receipt verification for all Temane 3 shipped cargo
- Shall send the endorsed Manifests and Delivery Notes back to Temane 3 Materials
Management Lead as confirmation of receipt and checking
- Ensure materials and equipment are requested from Temane 3 Supply Base in a timely manner and in strict accordance with Well Look-ahead and Planning Report and as directed by the Well-site DSV; creates, issues and maintains registers of all Request for Materials [RFM] sent to Temane 3 Supply Base
- Maintain bulks/fuel reconciliation record to cover all transfers from/to vehicles and daily usage
- Prepare hazardous goods declarations/paperwork as necessary for material movements by road
Maintain all “on rig” records including rock bit records, rental equipment register, stock & consumables register
- Ensures materials and equipment is located, stored, segregated on the well-site and fully traceable in accordance with good oilfield practices
- Manage and oversee all well-site personnel “shift-change” movements in relation to vehicle availability, planning and Journey Management Procedures
- Shall perform periodic inventory counts and recording of same to ensure inventory accuracy at all times
- Under the direction of the DSV & SHE Department, participate in emergency drills and be prepared to respond in emergency situations
- Supervises all material handling personnel operating on the Well-site, ensuring safe lifting and material movement practices are adhered to at all times
Requisites
- 10-15 years logistics and materials management experience within an Oil and Gas environment, preferably drilling operations
- 10-15 years exposure to Well Site operations and practices
- 5-10 years exposure to remote geographical operations
- Experience and demonstrated competency in materials management processes and procedures, including inventory management, warehouse management and materials and equipment movement records
- Displays strong knowledge of day-to-day Well-site activities, including facility and vehicle maintenance, land transportation and radio communication functions
- Experience with mechanical handling and crane lifting activities preferred
- Technical Well Operations experience is highly desirable
- Shall be familiar with oilfield materials and equipment
