I work as a Field Security Officer in support of two projects, namely UNDP and IOM, supporting 280 consultants spread across the province of Cabo Delgado, helping to track their movements and assisting activities in communities in a security context. In this intervention I am responsible for planning country documentation such as SOPs, HERP, MOISS, Country Security Plan, Country Security Risk Assessment, including risk management and Crises management at country level. for SOP planning considering the standard of services offered to the client for key operations, including the hibernation, relocation and evacuation plan. In my weekly task, I am also responsible for approving travel for consultants after checking the security status of interested locations, including monitor events such as protests, vandalization, armed attacks and natural disasters. Carry out political analysis of the military context and manage crisis. Record incidents and submit a weekly incident report to the account manager and update the teams on attack events throughout the week. I worked as a Helalthy and Safety security officer within the scope of humanitarian intervention in the districts of Mueda, Muidumbe, Nangade, Ancuabe, Pemba including some districts of Nampula, Being part of emergency teams and shelters in displacement centers. I was responsible of Supporting Country Security manager with the implementation of safety and Security measures and follow all field activities, including Conduct infrastructure assessment (MOISS and MOSS). Conduct all security risk assessments for interested areas that the project as interest. Find access impediments such as roads, communication networks and threats specific to the region. Report on threats/changes in dynamics that could affect the security situation in the area of operation. Maintain strong and extensive information sharing networks with a variety of actors (Media and local sources), for collecting daily security information. Provide the staff regular health Safety and Security briefings and updates and ensure that all staff adhere to security policies and procedures. I participated in the first humanitarian interventions in 2021, in the district of Mueda, in the opening of camps for internally displaced people, in the launch of the shelter, washing, distribution and emergency response program, supporting the organization in monitoring and monitoring activities in the north of the province of Cabo Delgado. I worked as Health Safety Security Officer, where I was responsible for providing safety and security induction, on the Organization's safety policies, to the new workers. I participated in the process of removing material of the WBHO company, in the district of Palma, after armed attacks recorded in 2021. I was responsible for tracking cargo ships in the Afungi fleet to Nacala and Maintain constant communication with the teams when they are in the field and report to the base Manager. Tracking the teams when they are in the field, using the geo-track, track 24 and geo companion systems, communication system such as VHF, HF and Satellite phones. Collect daily Security information before the team’s departure to the field. Control vehicle speed using track transponder system. Support Base manager with all administration activities such as government issues, stock control, refuelling of vehicles and giving induction for the new employees
Participate in the opening of gas and oil drilling, in the Anadarko project in the district of Mocimboa da Praia and Palma, where I was responsible for workplace safety.
