I have acquired skills over the last 8 years working with Mozambican public and private international non-profit organizations in biodiversity conservation projects and monitoring of international Ecological Corridors, over these years I have worked with large multicultural teams from different countries of the world in remote and complex areas high-risk under challenging field conditions in the South, Center, and North regions of Mozambique, I have a high skill in leading and monitoring projects of Biodiversity conservation activity, Mapping, and Monitoring of Fauna and Ecosystems through the Application of International Standards, application of National and International Conservation, Land and Community Laws and Policies, experience in implementing community development activities and team management. I have a strong passion for wildlife, especially monitoring the African Elephant ecological corridors.

Coordinate the application of nature-based initiatives for disaster and climate resilience; Develop training programs for beneficiaries in the field of local sustainable development; Coordinate restoration campaigns for Mangrove and Riparian Forest Ecosystems with the CLGRN in the districts of Mecufi, Metuge, Chiure and Ibo; Coordinate the application of nature-based initiatives for disaster and climate resilience; Coordinate the carrying out of surveys/diagnosis of training needs at the level of (potential) beneficiaries of infrastructures, SDAEs, and SDPIs, with a view to designing and implementing training plans; Creation of a Database for the Management and Monitoring of Environmental Ecosystems; Provide status monitoring data of mangrove-reforested areas and participants in activities to Community Forest International in the East Africa office located in Tanzania.
Organize, coordinate and direct education and outreach programs, events and activities such as workshops, field trips, and public meetings; Support and assist research with international consultants hired by the project; Map all areas of influence of artisanal and business fishing communities in the Cahora Bassa Albufeira, as well as the creation and training of Community Fishing Councils; Promote the practice of sustainable agriculture and conservation and conservation fishing along the Cahora Bassa Reservoir; Perform Comprehensive Monitoring of Local Forest Resources through the application of Mathematical Geoprocessing Indexes (NDVI, NDWI, EVI, SAVI); Perform other related functions as necessary to ensure successful participation in workshops and other activities; Ensure compliance with BIOFUND/ANAC financial requirements and support submission of expense reports and other documentation; Preparation of narrative progress reports and Financial reports with monthly expenses.
Responsible for Training SDAE Technicians in districts located in the Conservation Area Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Commission (ACTGL) in GPS use materials, GIS software; Produce maps of drought-vulnerable communities and drought-affected agricultural fields; Train Extensionists in the use of Mobile GPS applications (SW Maps, Mobile Topographer) to collect Coordinates; Train SDAE technicians in the districts (Mabalane, Mapai, Massisngiri, Chicualacuala and Massangena) in matters of the use of geoprocessing software to monitor the evolution of crops during periods of water scarcity and water collection points; Coordinate data collection (monitoring and evaluation documents) and compilation of site reports; Documentation during meetings and workshops; Prepare minutes of regular team meetings.
Coordinate the data collection process of the state of the Mangrove and map the degraded areas; Program Mangrove replanting campaigns involving local communities and primary schools. Responsible for creating a nursery group and production of Mangrove nurseries; Support neighborhood facilitators to mobilize the various key stakeholders in the Costa do Sol neighborhood to actively participate in Mangal restoration activities; Produce regular reports on the progress of project implementation in the communities under your responsibility.
