
▪ More than 31 years’ experience in community development and humanitarian assistance in Mozambique, of which 18 at USAID, providing technical oversight in areas such as food security (nutrition), WASH, gender, and social behavior change, disaster risk reduction and resilience. ▪ Expertise in managing/overseeing complex and high sums projects such as a $100 Million Title II PL480 food and nutrition security activities across Mozambique, a $3Million Grant World Food Program (WFP) nutrition activity to support the Government of Mozambique's Nutrition Rehabilitation Program. ▪ Fully conversant with the USAID rules and regulations. ▪ Great understanding of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DDR) and Sphere standards. ▪ Background in Project planning, design, and management, including monitoring and evaluation, as well as with the Contracting/Agreement Officer's Representative (COR/AOR) roles. Wide experience in working with National organizations such as SETSAN, MISAU, INGD and INAM and experience in working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
