Summary
I am motivated by my desire to work on developing and supporting programs that have a direct impact of people's lives. I understand how external conditions such as poverty, gender, and sexuality, can negatively impact our ability to access resources and opportunities, as I am also in the process of working on my Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology with a focus on social stress and the economic impacts on LGBTQI+ communities. While majority of my experience has been in corporate settings, I also thrive in the public sector and implementing community based projects. I volunteered as a SHRR peer educator for MSM and Trans Woman and have 10 years of experience as an LGBTQI+ Activist working with NGO’s in projects created to address the stigmatization, raise awareness and change in behaviors. I am eager to pursue new opportunity as I believe that it can elevate the course of my career and help open new doors. I believe this position will allow me to use my skills and experience in an exciting and interesting environment, while allowing me to grow as a professional. I understand that a inclusive culture and strong organizational management is a key ingredient to achieving success. I want to redefine the perception of what can be achieved in life outside of the stereotypical expectations imposed by society. I hope to learn and grow as a professional and as an individual, and to have positive impact in the life of those around me.
