Summary

I have a passion for working with public health agencies whose objectives are to provide humanitarian aid and support vulnerable persons. I am committed to contributing to scientific activities that can serve as the basis of community-centred health innovations and policies. Throughout my professional career of 9 years, I have developed management and administration skills, experience in hiring and onboarding, and specialized knowledge in supervision and team management. I have also gained proficiency in several stock control systems (PHC and Eticadata) and healthcare data software programs (Odekapa, Power BI, Redcap and DbSync). For almost five years, I worked as an Office Manager, Project Assistant for Tuberculosis and Malaria Projects at CISM Mozambique (the Manhica Health Research Center), where I helped lead a pioneering team in developing and rolling out innovative health tools (e.g., the Tuberculosis Xpert-Ultra test and RTS, S malaria vaccine) . In that role, I developed refined skills in scientific project management and monitoring, grant management, stakeholder engagement and planning, program implementation, and resource management (financial, and logistic). Since April of 2023, I have been working as Research Administrative Assistant in the Division of Science at CDC Mozambique (United States Embassy) where my main duties have consisted of reviewing scientific products, recording and monitoring for review, assistance to implementation partners and implementation of new tools to effectively organize and monitor scientific activities. I have thoroughly enjoyed my work managing and supporting health programs and scientific projects, and I hope to continue my contributions to these areas through new professional opportunities.
