Summary
To work in a dynamic environment which is challenging, has room for growth and allows me to grow professionally. Interested in using my skillset to contribute to strategic goals and objectives and creating positive organization-wide impact. During my most recent experience of working with a USAID project since 2014, I have directly been at the forefront of managing projects for local community partners. As a key responsibility of my current role I work as a part of the team to oversee a portfolio of over 75 grants. In order to ensure smooth and successful implementation I conduct the activities outline in the key accountabilities outlined for the Grants Officer role. I have successfully over my years of work coordinated with a multitude of implementing partners on behalf of my organization. I have conducted due diligence processes fulfilling donor requirements and assisted in capacity building where partners have scored low on these process checks. In my current role, I conduct frequent site visits, write their findings to feed into the program feedback loop and played a key role in financial disbursements to the concerned partners. I continue to maintain high levels of record keeping and continued communication with over 30 different organizations project teams. My transitioned into a finance officer role from 2009 to 2014. In this role, I was responsible for managing financial operations, creating and managing budgets, and developing financial reports. During this time, I developed a strong understanding of financial management principles and a keen eye for financial analysis. Apart from meeting the role specific requirements, I am confident that I also exceed the person specification for this role. I am an excellent team player, enjoy learning new challenging tasks. As stated above I have developed a high standard for staying organized and on top of my work targets and enjoy working in a high pressure work environment.
