With a formal background in Development Economics paired with my proven success leading projects and programs in both the national and international context, always looking to continue to grow at a higher level of management. Being an Mozambican born and raised, that led initiatives that always aimed to improve the lives of women mostly, I would definitely like to be part of such an amazing, but also challenging mission like the one your team is driving. My entire background and work experience has been focused in working to support governments to enable conditions for local businesses to succeed, and by that, communities and families, always led by women and sometimes youth, could have their lives improved. I have a local and international perspective when making decisions, which always gives me the space I need to make decisions that can actually help the ones who are in most need. I have more than 9 years of work experience, working for NGO´s, both local and international. Currently I am the Country Representative for Hiveonline ApS in Mozambique, a for-profit Danish FinTech aimed to provide financial inclusion digital solutions in sub-saharan africa. Previously I worked for GiveDirectly, also as a Country Representative, and led the implementation of GiveDirectly´s first emergency program in partnership with Gorongosa Restoration Project, and funded by the USAID with the ultimate goal to impact the poor in remote areas in Sofala, a province that was strongly hit by the cyclone IDAI. Combined with more than 3 years of successfully implementing country projects, global projects and leading the strategy of countries from Africa to Asia, as a Cluster Lead. I was also vice-president of the agribusiness and nutrition cluster of CTA - Confederation of Economic Associations, and currently I am one of the vice-chairs of the network - Global Sustainable Futures: Progress through Partnerships Network.
