A Professional Accountant (SA)with over 25 years of experience in financial management (FM) and auditing. I work as a Senior Financial Management Specialist at the World Bank in Maputo, Mozambique. I oversee the fiduciary aspects of the Bank’s portfolio, providing FM support, assisting borrowers with advice, technical support, capacity building, and PFM reforms, including support to the accountancy profession. My fiduciary responsibilities spanned from Mozambique through Angola, Lesotho, Namibia, Sao Tome & Principe, South Africa, and Swaziland. Before joining the Bank, he worked for six years with PwC (from Audit Assistant to Manager) with experience in accounting, auditing, and management consulting. He holds a bachelor’s honours degree (Licenciatura) in Management and a Master’s in Management of Development.
