I obtained my bachelor's degree in meteorology back in 2002. Since then, I have attended many short training courses that have helped me grow significantly as a climate scientist. While working with the NMHS in Mozambique I had the opportunity to collaborate with different stakeholders through the early warning system and disaster management environment, liaising with people at all levels of from Planning, organizing and time management, also learning to juggle different priorities and work on several projects simultaneously. With FbF mechanism, I am learning so much about spotting the vulnerability and impacts of a natural hazard and how it is effectively threatens communities negatively impacting the most vulnerable families.
