Data Scientist with a proven track record of leading impactful initiatives in malaria research programs. Currently, serving as the driving force behind the Unitaid-funded BOHEMIA clinical trial in Kenya and Mozambique, overseeing a team of data managers and playing a pivotal role in managing field staff and design operations. In collaboration with the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP), Recently I have spearheaded the transformation of the digital space, introducing electronic data collection tools for ITNs and SMC campaigns across 800K households. With expertise extending to Malaria database architecture and field operations, I've contributed to a USAID-supported cluster randomized trial, managing 150 field staff. Over the past six years, I've been based in the malaria-endemic district of Mopeia, collaborating closely with local and regional health authorities. This experience has uniquely positioned me to ensure timely and comprehensive access to malaria data for evidence-based policy decision-making. Moving forward, my goal is to continue supporting NMCP in managing complex data streams and field operations, leveraging my skills to drive positive outcomes in the dynamic landscape of health related data science.
