Responsible for programs that are donor funded, preparing budgets, preparing cash forecast, Preparing donor matrix, researching funding opportunities, monitoring expenditure, tracking results, analyzing financial data and reporting, donor mapping, and subverting solutions between the program implementers and finance for all major donors such as: USAID, Norway, Ireland, Canada, FAO, UNDP, EU, Japanese, Netherlands, OAK Foundation, Rain Forest Trust, Portuguese Embassy, HHMI, Carr Foundation, Give Directly, Alexander Gruner Foundation. Tasks and deliverables: • Playing a pivot role between the core departments such as Programs, Finance and Procurement in consolidating information for the success of the grant and project implementation. • Evaluation whether the project is achieving its objectives, utilize funds efficiently to ensure accountability and make necessary adjustments if challenges arise. • Manage deadlines and deliveries of financial reports with a focus on solutions to challenges and an oversight to maintain donor confidence in producing quality financial reports. • Planning and executing the grantmaking process by working with the finance team to work within the annual budget, supporting program staff in researching funding opportunities, manage documents and deadlines, track grantee results. • Assisting in the management and allocation of funds in various programs. • Conducting partners capacity assessment for the prudence of the project implementation • Supporting project managers and other stakeholders in annual budget preparation • Preparing cash forecast monthly and quarterly for finance department to ensure that funds are available for the project activities. • Identifying areas for improvement and provide practical recommendations for implementation strategies. • Ensuring the risk and compliance with donor requirements are mitigated and adhered to as per grant agreement to have zero tolerance to project audit findings. • Update the Funds’ grant
