
Dear HR Afonso Pedro Chibalo, Mozambican, MSc in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security by the Royal Agricultural University (www.RAU.AC.UK) and BSc in Agricultural Science by the Catholic University of Mozambique, with more than 15 Years work experience. I’m applying for this position as it is suitable for me as I have been working in a related work in a similar position strengthening community to manage Natural Resources available in such manner that can sustain their livelihood whilst ensuring that future generation will have to source their life from it. I have more than 15 Years working with Communities on capacity building to respond to their current Livelihood need and to fight against Climate Change and its effects on the food system. More recently (2018-2021) I worked as Livelihood Restoration Program Administrator for Total LNG Project in Afungi (Cabo Delgado Province) and the aim was to ensure that all resettled Households get their livelihood restored. And before that I have worked since 2009 as Project Manager with different ONGs (GAPI, SNV, and CLUSA). I have successfully completed training in Agri-finance in South Africa with Standard Bank headquarters in 2013. I have a lot of working experience in Project management for farmers’ development and incomes generation, aimed for food security as well as farmers capacity building in different matter of rural development and technology transfer on agricultural knowledge. As a professional on Rural Development with extensive work experience, and giving my ability to lead development projects, I am eager to contribute to reach the expected results.
