Resumo

I am a well-rounded humanitarian aid professional, with a very unique blend of skills sourced through the United Nations system, and other international and local organizations. My life’s work depicts over 18 years of demonstrated experience in Business & Project Management particularly as a groundbreaking Logistics and Supply Chain operative in the context of Emergency/Disaster Response Operations and Impact Assessment, Recovery, Health/Food and Development Programs, including Public Health/ Disease Surveillance Program Management. Past training and professional incumbencies have tailored me to take on complete projects and assignments of high importance and increasing difficulty and complexity, right on time and on the budget. In recent roles, I have undertaken and pioneered teams’ leadership and management towards ever enhanced deliverables, innovative problem solving and forward achievement, thus curbing operational costs by as much as 18% while keeping high-spirited team members and a satisfied clientele. I ought to make reference to roles such as: (i.e.) Project Manager at the Manhiça Health Research Centre (CISM) for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations’ Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance project (CHAMPS) under the auspices of the CDC ‐ Centres for Disease Control & Emory University; Logistics Manager for the ADPP People to People Development Aid; Senior Logistician and Warehouse Manager for the United Nations World Food Program's biggest Logistics Hub in Mozambique; Logistics Specialist for the United Nations FAO; Information and Communication Officer for the United Nations Emergency Logistics Cluster; WFP Logistics Emergency Operations Deployment, Provincial Representative for People Services International (PSI), and other.
