I have a Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFR, Brazil (The UFRJ is in 5th place in the Ranking QS World University Rankings 2019 in South America and in the global scenario holds 358th place) at almost 5 years and I have 10 years of experience (2008 - 2018) with computational numerical modeling in the areas of: • Performing numerical and physical modeling of coastal and riverine processes; • Hydraulic (tides, currents, waves) analysis and modeling; • Sediment transport analysis; • Assessing and developing engineering solutions for hydraulic and hydrodynamic problems; • Dredging works; • Water quality models and control of water pollution; • Developing vulnerability assessments, sea level rise plans, and adaptation plans; • Adapting to coastal change - Flood Risk Management • Preparing data syntheses, technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and specifications; • Performing data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; • Technical and commercial reporting
