Resumo
Alírio Chirindza is an independent senior consultant with more than 19 years of experience in the field of Public Finance Management and project management, primarily focusing on externally funded projects. These projects are financed by organizations such as United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Global Fund, World Bank, Prosaude (European Common Fund), among others. With his experience in the health and agriculture sectors, he has provided advisory services in planning and financial management, value-added tax (VAT) and Customs duties exemption for 19 years. His recent work with USAID at Ministry of Health (MoH) has led to the effective implementation of VAT Fiscal Mechanism under Degree 66/2017 of 23 November. This mechanism regulates the VAT related to projects funded by the United States Government (USG).
