Resumo
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, and Geographic Information Systems from Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique, and currently pursuing a Master's degree in GIS for Sustainable Development. Currently employed as a Geographic Information Systems technician at PANGEIA SA, actively contributing to diverse national-level projects involving GIS and environmental assessments. Proficient in conducting socioeconomic surveys, monitoring and evaluation activities, and market research. With extensive expertise in GIS, I possess advanced skills in geoprocessing software such as ArcGIS, Erdas, QGIS, Envi, and a foundational understanding of AutoCAD. Additionally, I am well-versed in data conversion systems, utilizing tools/software like Google Earth Professional, SPSS, Remote Sensing Systems (RS), and Triangular Irregular Network (TIN), Civil 3D, DEM, GEODATABASE. I have adeptly utilized various data sources, including topographic maps, satellite imagery, Google Earth, ArcGIS Online, GPS, and proficiently executed tasks like digitization and georeferencing to extract valuable GIS data. My consultancy experience encompasses developing mapping models for natural disasters, including erosion (using the SLEMSA method), floods, wildfires, and droughts, employing advanced techniques like multicriteria analysis. Additionally, I have successfully utilized MS Access for organizing GEODATABASE and possess strong computer skills, leveraging Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. With a comprehensive background in GIS and a keen focus on sustainable development, I am equipped to contribute effectively to projects requiring GIS expertise and drive positive environmental outcomes.
